Designed by Judith Cornford the garden is a portrayal of the intimidation suffered by the older generation when attempting to use the internet. Avoid the threatening monkey puzzles (Araucaria araucana) and the tangled wire netting plant (Corokia cotoneaster) by thinking outside the “box” (Buxus sempervirens) then confront yet another barrier of Sarcococca confusa.
Anglian Home Improvements - The Naked Garden
Designed by David Domoney the garden shows the beauty of “naked” plants and exposes what is traditionally left undiscovered with cleverly constructed glass containers and other transparent materials. Soilless culture allows the full structure of a plant with its roots to be appreciated. Plants are suspended in containers with water supplying an optimal feed.
Astellas Pharma Ltd "A Matter of Urgency" Campaign - Control the Uncontrollable
Designed by Jill M W Foxley the aim of the garden is to highlight the problem of Overactive Bladder, which affects over five million adults in the UK. The colourful maze and paved pathway symbolise uncertainty and the number of different paths that a person may take. As the focal point of the garden, a five-ton granite sphere sits on a water-cushioned base.

Designed by Caroline Comber with Petra Horackova this garden has been created to emphasise the need for communities, societies and nations to build mutually beneficial partnerships. The concept of the garden is realised by using interlocking circles each filled with a single plant species. Where these circles interlock the species combine.

Designed by Sadie May Stowell the Copella Plant and Protect Garden highlights the continuous cycle of life and death that occurs in an apple orchard. This is reflected in a central mound that takes its inspiration from a fallen apple returning to the earth. From the heart of the apple rises a sculpture symbolising the natural regeneration that is present in orchards.

Designed by Dejardin Design the garden aims to heighten the awareness of the therapeutic benefits of gardens. The gazebo represents the patient’s domain and opens into a private space where they can quietly reflect and enjoy the sights, sounds, scent and feel of the garden. The centrepiece of the courtyard is a glass mosaic sculpture.

Designed by Bruce Waldock this is a Japanese inspired garden the centrepiece is the “Bauble”, a place for work, leisure and to socialise in the virtual world. The surrounding garden is also symbolic: the careful arrangement of stone, gravel and plantings is an interpretation of nature and everything natural, but it is also absolutely virtual reality.
Paul Martin in association with Vestra Wealth - Vestra Wealth's Gray's Garden
Designed by Paul Martin Designs the garden is inspired by the Irish designer Eileen Gray, famous for her Modernist furniture and architecture. Central to the design is a 1920s style pavilion that includes some pieces of her furniture. The pavilion nestles between multi-stemmed trees and long water troughs surrounded by clipped box hedges.
Tony Smith - Diamonds and Rust
Designed by Tony Smith this is a conceptual garden concerned with human perceptions of time, from the apparent permanence of geological features to the transience of human structures and industry. The garden has two earthwork structures, one shaped like the base of a pyramid overlaid with the second, a landscape of rolling hills.

Designed by FlemonsWarlandDesign the garden focuses on a reflective pool, punctuated by grass domes, to reflect charity World Vision’s work in over 100 countries worldwide. One dome represents the prosperous nations that have, whilst the other is indicative of the half of the world that have not.

Featuring woodland and a flowering meadow, a stockman’s retreat and traditional walling. The garden showcases the skills of Team UK who will compete at WorldSkills London 2011.
WWF in partnership with HSBC - WWF’s 50th Anniversary Garden – Why we care about chalk streams
Designed by Fiona Stephenson the garden tells the story of WWF’s water conservation work. Plants typically found around chalk streams or in alkaline soils intermingle with oversized planting, while a giant plug and sphere artworks inspire visitors to think about how we use water, and how to help protect this special UK wildlife habitat.
